I liked this book. It was funny. Max teaches Sammy how to play poker but it was after she tried going on line. She found some sites but was surprised by them. Any way, Sam finds a poker game and goes with Max to a seedy bar. She encounters Cowboy Bill who is losing, but wins a hand when Sam steps close to him. He says that she must stay and sit with him. Sammy really want to play and finally gets a chance to play. Sammy being Sam, she spills her drink on Cowboy Bill's expensive suit. And all hell breaks out. The other players accuse Sam of cheating with Cowboy Bill. Sam won the hand but the others wouldn't let her take the money. Max gets Sammy out of there and takes her home. She was upset that she didn't get to keep her winnings. Once home, she updates her blog and waits for an answer for an answer from Blue (if he's online). Then Sam goes to sleep thinking about the next thing on her bucket list. A tattoo. If you remember, Sam hates needles. But she's determined to get this crossed off her list. I can't wait for this story. I've already pre-ordered the next three books. Thanks Lillianna for your writing.

'Learn Poker' was another funny episode with Sam being her clumsy, witty self. I loved the bar scene. Another great task for Sam to cross off her bucket list. Max is still confusing me. He says a lot that apparently Sam either doesn't get or she plays off that she's not good enough. Even with all her accomplishments, she still doubts herself. But I do understand why she does. On to the next book...

Great entertaining, some funny, great stories.
Just finished reading 13, 14 and 15. They were ok but I'm starting to lose interest. I'm wondering how many more before Sammy makes a choice between Max or Blue. Not sure I want to be reading another Stephaine Plum(21books in).
